Taylor Damery, DVM
Growing up on a farm in rural Illinois, Dr. Taylor Damery developed a deep connection with animals and biology and was encouraged by her grandmother to become a veterinarian. She brings two years of experience and small animal expertise to The PARC,and was drawn here by the welcoming environment and the partnership between staff and pet owners that emphasizes the importance of top-notch care for every pet.
Dr. Damery began her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant in high school, evolving into a technician role during veterinary school. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in animal science, a master's degree in animal nutrition and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
She shares her home with her husband, John Easter; their beloved yellow lab, Kameron, and their cat, Momo. Originally from Decatur, Illinois, Dr. Damery currently resides in Fort Worth. Beyond her work, she finds joy in spending time outdoors, hiking, skiing and the art of baking.
What "job title" would be on your pets’ name tags? Sidekick – Kam is always glued to my side. He is a mama’s boy through and through. He is a great traveler and would go absolutely everywhere with me if he could.
Advice for pet owners: Focus on their training and establish healthy routines. Training an animal is easy, it just takes a lot of patience and consistency. If you invest the time and energy early on, you will have a loyal, well-mannered best friend for life!
