Jose Lopez, DVM
Dr. Jose Lopez's journey from tech assistant to emergency veterinarian highlights his dedication to revolutionary care and continuous learning in the field. His love for animals was first inspired by childhood visits to his great grandparents’ family farm, while his many mentors at The PARC – where he first worked as a tech assistant during undergrad and vet school breaks, when it was known as Hulen Hills Animal Hospital – also played a pivotal role in shaping his career.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in biology from Texas A&M University and then graduating summa cum laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lopez knew that there was no other place he’d rather be than The PARC. Focused on emergency medicine, he thrives on the challenge of making crucial decisions for unique situations, drawing on eight years’ experience and a constant emphasis on empathetic care.
Outside of work, Dr. Lopez shares his life in Fort Worth with his girlfriend and their beloved cats, Cheeto, Ziggy and Zeppy.
