Dr. Allison Drew, DVM
Dr. Allison Drew joins the emergency team at The PARC with a strong background in both mixed animal practice and emergency medicine. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate care to pets and their families during some of the most stressful and critical moments they may face.
Dr. Drew earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2023. She is USDA-accredited and an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.
Prior to joining The PARC, Dr. Drew practiced mixed animal medicine in rural communities and worked in a small animal emergency hospital. This diverse experience allows her to approach complex cases with practical problem-solving skills and a calm, adaptable mindset. She has a special interest in emergency and soft tissue surgery and enjoys the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine.
Originally from Bridgeport, Texas, Dr. Drew’s passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood while helping her grandfather care for cattle. Those early experiences caring for livestock sparked a lifelong love of animals and ultimately led her to pursue veterinary medicine. Today, she continues to carry that same sense of responsibility and advocacy for every patient she treats. Her personal motto reflects this commitment: “Be their voice.”
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Drew enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active with family and friends. Her husband, James, served in the United States Air Force until 2024 and now works as a firefighter/EMT in the DFW area. Together they share their home with two step-sons, Christopher and Zackery, along with their pets: Petey, a scruffy mixed-breed dog; Marty, an Irish Wolfhound; and Kevin, a Devon Rex cat. Their household also includes chickens, ducks, Longhorn cattle, and Nigerian Dwarf goats.
