Ashley Caldwell, DVM
Dr. Ashley Caldwell notes that she loves working at The PARC for three main reasons: the exceptional doctors, the state-of-the-art tools, and an entire staff fully dedicated to pet health and happiness. An associate veterinarian, she brings a decade of experience and a deep passion for nurturing the bond between people and their pets.
Dr. Caldwell's diverse background includes serving as an equine veterinary assistant at High Point Equine Vet Services, and she loves working on cases in internal medicine and ophthalmology. Her educational journey includes a bachelor's in animal science from Texas A&M University, a master's in veterinary biomedical sciences and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Lincoln Memorial University.
Originally from Dallas, Dr. Caldwell currently resides in Celina with her spouse, Gray, and a delightful array of pets: Olive (pit bull mix), Tucker (old English bulldog), and Gus and Piper (domestic shorthair cats). She also has an unconventional pet – Malena, a mustang adopted from California as a weanling. Her hobbies include spending time with her animals, horseback riding, reading and collecting plants.
What "job title" would be on your pets’ name tags? Olive the Therapist. Tucker the Comedian. Malena Gives Me Wings. Gus the Biscuit Maker and Piper the Biscuit Factory Foreman.
What’s unique about you? I have over 50 houseplants. Some of my favorites include my monstera esqueleto and philodendron gloriosum.
