Arturo Pinon-Velasquez, DVM
Dr. Arturo Piñon is a dedicated veterinarian with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, including four years practicing as a DVM. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a B.S. in Environmental Sciences, a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Before joining The PARC, Dr. Piñon worked as an associate veterinarian at Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital, where he honed his interests in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. He is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA).
Although originally drawn to veterinary medicine by a love of animals, it’s the people—clients and colleagues alike—that have made the profession deeply meaningful for him. His approach to care is rooted in collaboration, empathy, and respect, values he found aligned perfectly with The PARC’s mission of “People. Animals. Revolutionary Care.”
Originally from Dallas and now back in the DFW area, Dr. Piñon enjoys running, audiobooks, gardening, exploring new restaurants and breweries, and helping his father with landscaping projects.
His personal mottos—“Don’t hold onto the past or it will weigh you down,” and “Say sorry even if you’re right”—speak to his thoughtful and grounded perspective on life and work.
