Anna Mills, DVM
Working with trail horses in high school inspired Dr. Anna Mills to earn her bachelor’s in animal science from the University of Tennessee and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Tuskegee University. Now with six years of experience – including mixed animal practice, general practice and emergency medicine – Dr. Mills brings a diverse background to The PARC alongside her commitment to revolutionary care. She also has an unofficial specialty in cases involving immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) or foreign bodies.
Dr. Mills’ family includes her husband, Patrick, and son, Jude, along with their hound mix dogs, Lou and Charlie. Originally from Sweetwater, Tennessee, she currently resides in Crowley. When not attending to animals at work or at home, she loves roller skating and running, and has a special talent for playing Jeopardy.
Fun fact about your pets: Lou and Charlie would travel with me to the clinic when I worked mixed animal. They would go up to the other sick animals or hang out in the horse stalls.
Advice for pet owners: Enjoy every moment with your pets.
