Abbey Brown, DVM
Dr. Abbey Brown joins The PARC's General Practice team with nearly a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, having started her career in 2016 as a kennel technician before advancing to technician assistant and veterinary assistant roles while pursuing her education. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with pets and their families while providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Originally from Keller, Texas, Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Animal Science from West Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude, before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University, where she graduated cum laude in 2026. She is also a USDA-accredited veterinarian and has been a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) since 2018.
Dr. Brown has a special interest in surgery and enjoys the opportunity to continue expanding her skills through mentorship from The PARC's seasoned vets while delivering exceptional care to every patient she meets. Although she is beginning her career as a veterinarian, her years of hands-on experience in the profession have given her a strong foundation and deep appreciation for every member of the veterinary team.
She and her husband, Dr. Joshua Brown, also a veterinarian, enjoy exploring the outdoors with their three dogs—Apache, Saraphena and Remington. In her free time, Dr. Brown also loves painting, reading mystery and romance novels, and spending time with family and friends.
