Hulen Hills Animal Hospital Reopens as The PARC
Renowned vet center moves to 25,000-square-foot, first-of-its-kind facility off I-30 and Hulen
FORT WORTH, Texas – Dec. 13, 2018 – Overnight, Hulen Hills Animal Hospital (Hulen Hills), a top Tarrant County veterinary hospital and pet emergency center, has reopened in a new facility as The PARC. A longtime project in the making, the new facility unites Hulen Hills and Metro West Emergency Veterinary Center (Metro West) under one name and roof, serving pets and their owners 24 hours a day through comprehensive veterinary care that enhances the special bond between people and their pets. A celebratory ribbon cutting will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17; all are invited.
The PARC – which stands for People, Animals, Revolutionary Care – is the vision of owner Dr. Steve Hotchkiss, who has served clients and their pets with his trailblazing approach for more than 24 years as leader of both Hulen Hills and Metro West. The PARC philosophy is simple and distinctive:
- People first. The first of its kind in Tarrant County, The PARC serves pets while supporting and reassuring owners. The facility boasts an open environment and glass walls lining patient rooms, plus an extended space for educational classes and social events that connect people and pets.
- Animals at the heart of it. The new facility is home to 10 veterinarians, more than 70 support staff and the latest in veterinary technology. From wellness checkups and vaccinations to surgery, 24-hour emergency care and boarding, staff members customize care for each pet and owner – committing to the same quality care the community has come to expect of Hotchkiss and the team.
- Revolutionary Care throughout. At The PARC, the focus is on maximizing the life people share with their pets. It’s more than just providing great medicine and a safe place for pets to stay, it’s about connecting and celebrating the joys of pet ownership.
“Our team has waited a long time for this moment,” said Dr. Steve Hotchkiss, who serves as owner and chief vision officer. “We’re passionate about what we do and are eager to open this facility. Our clients will be wowed by the architecture and will find comfort in familiar faces. We’ve expanded our physical capacity, for certain, but have kept the connection between people and pets at the heart of it all. We’re proud to bring The PARC to Fort Worth – it really is the most unique pet care facility in the country.”
The new facility is located on the I-30 access road, just west of Hulen Street. Hotchkiss’ luxury boarding facility, The Grand Pet Resort & Salon, will continue to offer premium pet boarding, daily PARC PlayCare and salon services at its current location under a new name, The PARC Grand Resort.
