Preston Stone, DVM
Dr. Preston Stone loves getting to know his patients and the special relationships they have with their humans. He especially enjoys dermatology because the diagnostic process gives him extra opportunities to learn more about them – from their favorite outdoor activities to the treats they prefer. He also oversees special care for hospitalized patients who are sick or injured, including making sure worried clients are well informed about their pet’s condition. Dr. Stone also serves as medical director at The PARC. In addition to being a great vet, he has a natural ability to lead people and inspire the team to deliver on our promise to maximize the life people share with their pets.
Dr. Stone’s passion for veterinary medicine grew out of countless trips to the family farm in South Carolina during his childhood. He went on to study animal science at Clemson University, where he was also an offensive lineman on the gridiron for the Fighting Tigers. He earned his Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Dr. Stone now lives in Aledo with his wife, Erin, their three sons and two handsome labs, Tillman and Graham.
Title that would be on your pet’s nametag: My dog is my HairyMan – a superhero that is a constant reminder to clean up the house due to his hair being everywhere – so not sure if that is a hero or an archenemy…
